Overview

The Sales Account Executive at Haus Labs by Lady Gaga will play a pivotal role in growing our in-store Sephora business. This position is responsible for achieving sales targets in an assigned market, building brand awareness, and inspiring brand love from clients. Primarily a client and retail focused role, this position is expected to be in store five days a week. As an Executive, fostering relationships should come naturally to you- building relationships with senior Sephora leadership and mentoring Account Coordinators are both key functions. Possessing a strong understanding of how planning/executing in-store events, managing T&E/freelance budgets, and delivering product knowledge and makeup artistry techniques will positively impact sales and are all critical to the success of this role.

What You’ll Do
 

  • Achieve, and exceed, retail sales plans.
  • Partner with the Education Team to train beauty advisors on the brand's science forward approach to makeup artistry, including key ingredients and application techniques.
  • Build a positive reputation and inspire brand love, by ensuring all interactions are collaborative, positive, and in line with brand values.
  • Establish, maintain, and elevate professional relationships with Sephora field leadership. 
  • Utilize sales results to inform strategic business decisions and create store specific plans to increase rank and brand awareness. 
  • Shares knowledge, feedback, and best practices within the field team, mentoring Account Coordinators. 
  • Develop and maintain a call cycle in line with demands of the market to maintain productivity in top volume doors, while also building business in opportunity doors. 
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to plan and execute monthly in-store events and new product launch initiatives.
  • Ideate and execute territory specific activations to build incremental revenue. 
  • Recruit, develop, and retain in store support teams, freelance, Beauty Advisors, etc. 
  • Communicate with corporate team and Sephora store partners to address any stock, cleanliness, or visual standard concerns for gondolas and promotional areas.
  • Support key activations in markets, other than assigned, across North America. 
  • Administration and tracking of all budgets: T&E, travel, freelance, and gratis.
  • Meet all deadlines in submitting territory recap reports and expenses. 
  • Stay aware of makeup retail and artistry trends and regularly share with leadership. 
  • Elevate brand image by adhering to Haus Labs style/grooming guidelines. 


What We Are Looking For
 

  • 4+ years of cosmetics retail experience, Account Executive or tenured Account Coordinator experience preferred. Sephora experience a plus!
  • Strong makeup artistry skillset.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving personal and territory sales goals.
  • Growth mindset - you thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills; written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Collaborative and can build positive business partnerships with all levels of retail partner leadership.
  • Attention to detail, while simultaneously able to “see the big picture.”
  • Able to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time.
  • Advanced proficiency in retail math, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Overnight and some air travel within territory occasionally required. 
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • Valid Passport and/or Real ID, to support travel needs


Physical Demands
 

  • Flexibility to work in the field during a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, including occasional nights, holidays, and Sundays- to meet the needs of the business. 
  • Prolonged (8+ hour) periods of standing, with breaks. 
  • Ability to lift/carry/unbox packages up to 50 lbs.
